About Louise Darby who produces finely thrown stoneware and porcelain

Louise Darby	INTRODUCTION

Louise has been a professional potter since graduating from Loughborough College of Art and Design in 1978. Working initially with Reg Moon at Torquil Pottery Henley-in-Arden, before establishing her own workshop at Redhill near Stratford-upon-Avon in 1983. Louise is a professional member of the Craft Potters Association and sells her ceramics through galleries in Britain, major retail events, and from her studio.

Enjoying long views from her garden and workshop across Warwickshire farmland to the Cotswolds, Louise works independently at Clay Barn, Redhill, her studio home, where she has a small well-stocked showroom and welcomes visitors - by appointment please.

Louise sells her photographs as framed pictures and greetings cards from her workshop, and also takes informal ‘lifestyle family portraits’.

Louise holds two mixed media group exhibitions a year at Clay Barn in spring and autumn. Find out about these and other events by joining her mailing list
